Thanks!
I will probably give the bike hand a try.

I have the Nitto workstand that Riv use to sell for like $40 many years
ago. It looks like this one:

Riv hasn't carried it in a long time and I don't know if it is still
available (perhaps Jitensha or Alex Cycles), but it's collapses and folds
down nicely. Otherwise, I also have a stand now know as Feedback Sports
(formerly Ultimate or something like that).

Good Luck!

[RBW] Re: What do Rivendell Riders use for a floor bike stand?

2018-09-20 Thread Touriste-Routier
I have a bunch of "Stand by Me" stands as sold by
https://www.bikenashbar.com/cycling/nashbar-stand-by-me-na-sbm-base

They are easy to transport, so I often take them with me for displaying
bikes (like concours) and for just having a way to keep the bike upright
(instead of leaning it against the car) when preparing for rides at
events/club rides that I need to drive to.

I use the same Feedback Sports Rakk and its great; it fits up to 2.4" tires
and has a small footprint. Here's the link to the rack on

I use a Feedback Sports Rakk (used to be called Ultimate Rakk). I like it
because the arm that supports the wheel can fold down so the whole unit
stores flat.

I have kickstands on most of my bikes, but I've been really happy with the
Bikehand for my bike that doesn't have one. Easy to move around and quite
stable. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BW4TP7C/
