[RBW] Re: Winter's Troubadour Vanguard
Thanks, all! Aye, Andrew, Beorn is hibernating for the winter. Fixed gear for snow and slop of winter. Even when the lower roads are clear, the trail is snowy. Dear Patrick, it's a great relief to see and hear of your adventures again. So happy for you that *you're* 'out there in it ... and so happy for us who, surely more than you know, are motivated to go experience *something *on our bikes. Well done, you! "Silence" indeed when the fresh fallen snow damps the branches, even the wind becomes quieter. Great hsots! DP, looks like it was an awesome day for a ride. Got to love cold weather riding! [RBW] Re: Winter's Troubadour Vanguard
Deak - At least you had a Fall/Indian Summer. Here in the Midwest Autumn immediately deteriorated into an early Winter with snow fall back at the end of October. It never did return to normal Fall weather conditions until recently when it's just become an ordinary November. My aging carcass can't handle the cold as well any more so bike riding may be over for the year.
