Really, it could be worse. I drive a Delorean and you wouldn't believe how many people ask if it came with a gram of coke in the glove box, or if I have a flux capacitor, or try to tell me it has a Ford engine, or if they all came painted silver. On the other hand, people constantly want to photograph it, sit in it, see how the doors work, etc. So, like with riding a Rivendell, there are perks, too, to owning and riding something unusual and sophisticated. - Chris Kostman La Jolla, CA http://www.adventurecorps.com http://www.XO-1.org http://www.the508.com On Jun 17, 1:45 pm, cm chrispmur...@hotmail.com wrote: I blame Cannondale..seriously. Re: [RBW] Re: do you ever get tired of....
Instead of the awkward and grammatically inaccurate aren't I, you say ain't I -- Ain't I smart? Note that the singular of y'all is yew, as in Ha yew? Seriously, I think a locution such as y'all he'p me now is old English of a certain class and possibly region. A co worker from Balimer (Merlund) and her Virginia boyfriend found, in London, that the Brits could easily understand him but not her. OK, Jim, no more. What are the gaps that they fill? I can see the utility of ya'll, though the apostrophe is a PITA, but ain't doesn't seem to fill a need that I can tell. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group.
