I could make a case that buying from the US regime is a little dicey at the
moment so...yeah.

Yeah, let's not go down the "regimes" rabbit hole. The world is very very
complicated. RBW Owners Bunch a tad less so.

Disappointed because Salsa used to make everything in Taiwan, and I would
rather support a small, semi-independent island rather than a Communist
regime.

On the other hand, I've been to China, and found everybody I encountered to
be very nice and helpful. So maybe I shouldn't look down on Chinese stuff.
There's plenty of it in my household already.

[RBW] Rivendell prices going up.

2018-02-01 Thread Davey Two Shoes
As of Jan 1 Waterford up their prices across the board. I know this because I
ordered one prior to the price increase. I was looking at a Gunnar Roadie but
then my shop informed me that with all the specs I requested it would be the
same price as a Waterford UNTIL JAN 1. So it worked out for me.

Anyway I suspect that's at least part of the reason Rivs are going up.

Bill, while Lum may not be speaking of you specifically, I'm sure you fit the
description ;)

I am assuming that is a misprint and it should be $100-$140
