[RBW] Sunday ride
30 miles on the Quickbeam yesterday, almost all on paved trails, running from Wilmington, DE out to the PA-DE state line at Marcus Hook. T-storm in the middle was exciting, otherwise a beautiful ride. Maybe 20 stream crossings over some beautiful bridges, and nobody on the trail -- storm must have driven everyone indoors. Most excitement was escaping a loose pit bull by riding across a pretty rough field -- the bumps jarred my Bagman support and Country Bag loose, but I recovered them later. Modest blemish on otherwise great ride. [RBW] Sunday Ride
Nice ride today on my Romulus at Antelope Island State Park, Utah. My favorite spring ride. Saw lots of bison and a mule deer, but the pronghorn in the grainy photo was my favorite and was close enough to snap a photo with my phone. http://www.flickr.com/photos/79571137@N07/sets/72157629618337572/with/7004449494/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. Re: [RBW] Sunday Ride
I may be in, if I can escape the slow-grinding chore wheel on the home front. Grizzly Peak Century is that morning- all the roadies will be bombing down Wildcat. San Leandro never disappoints - we could always go to Drake's, or here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/romleys/7140517117 =- Joe Bunik Walnut Creek, CA On 5/3/12, Manuel Acosta manueljohnaco...@hotmail.com wrote: Kinda sick of club rides where no one talks or is too scared of getting this bikes dirty. Business causal meaning wear some plaid if will show up better in pictures. The general route will be known but most likely we'll get lost. It will be an adventure and no one should say no to adventure! Proposed route. http://g.co/maps/nejgk End point will be with some type of food designation. I know a good bagel/sandwich shop in San Leandro. Hope to see you there. One picture to prove that it will be awesome http://flic.kr/p/aZ3L9Z -Manny Don't think about it. Just go!
