I saw a man the other day portaging a bicycle as a backpack while riding another. The portaged bike looked a lot smaller than his other bike, so maybe his child's. He had the bike arranged with the wheels off and strapped flush to the frame. It appeared completely stable. It inspired me to search for a carrying system and I saw this: https://www.digitaltrends.com/outdoors/bike-carrying-kickstarter/ You might devise a method along similar lines? It's tricky, but I've bungeed front wheels alongside my rear rack. Two connections on the front of the wheel and one to the towed bike's fork. Get it right and it's a trailer (not for riders though) Unfortunately I've no pictures, but I promise it's a thing. I've also tried the upside down kids bike with the top of the bars lashed on top of the rear rack, that method makes the pivot a little jumpy, it's nice to keep the headset of the towee as low as you can get it for less floppiness. -Kai -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group. There is a thing called a Trail-Gator: https://www.amazon.com/Trail-Gator-Trail-Gator-Tow-Bar/dp/B00648WUNC/ref=sr_1_5?hvadid=178114179047=t=9033030=g=1t1=b=15483666461653180845=kwd-18544871177=trail-gator+child+bike+tow+bar=1553382921=gateway=8-5 I have no experience with it & I'm actually not at all certain why I know this thing exists! I know cargo bikes have those hoop things that you can pop the front wheel of a kids bike in and tow it. And there's the trail-a-bikes. But is there any way anyone here has found to tow a kids bike on a regular, non-cargo riv-ish bike? My 5-year-old and I bike to school in the morning and usually just leave the bike there to ride home. But there are times when its forecast to rain and I don't want to leave her bike out there getting wet, or ride home in the rain (usually I'll walk or drive to pick her up in those cases). And next year we're looking at an after school program that would require her to take a shuttle from school to another place, so I would want to take the bike back with me after drop off in the AM otherwise it would be stuck at school. Trying to think of a way to tow it with a normal bike setup, w/o having to get a new (ie, cargo) bike. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
