Thanks! I wanted to run some Rene Herse 27.5″ x 2.2″ (650B x 55) Umtanum
Ridge TC Tire but seems that's not in the cards. I'm leaning towards the
bontrager XR3s in a 2.2" I appreciate the confirmation.

I ran 2.2 Continental Trail Kings on the 53.  They fit just fine without 
any rubbing or chainline interference.  The 2.35 max James indicated tracks 
with my experience!

I am currently running the 26” Super Yummy which is 26 x 2.22 and I would not 
go much larger. If you want close up pics of anywhere let me know and I can do 
it in the daylight. Mine is a 2004 or 2005 model.
