Hey Andy,

Thanks, well as it stands the Coconut got injured and is out for the count
at least on the proposed date, Curtis is out and there has been little
interest from anyone else. I figured it was a long shot this time of year,
so it looks like it won't be happening this weekend. Evan is okay but
sustained a bruised rib and something else? He said it was poor public
planning at the root.

I've got a cold so was sort of inclined to shine it anyways but would have
gone if others were all the way in. As it stands I'm planning on the 20th
or 27th in the Los Padres with or without partners in crime.

What I like about your community is it's unflagging determination to get
out and about, probably due to Portland's size...here in SoCal as you know
it's hard to bring people together for small events. I just hope I have the
energy to move North when I retire. I hear cold ain't easy when your bones

Start Ventura out the Ventura river trail to the Ojai Valley bike path

I understand if taking off a Friday is difficult for some but then who

2013-12-05 Thread Hugh Smitham
Deacon,

Thanks any time I get to camp I always have a blast.

I have a 25+ bag which I recently re-lofted and purchased a VBL so I'll be
fine. There are others that don't have said gear so I was thinking of them.
I don't know if we can do the fire thing in the Los Padres Forest as they
want an official fire ring these days. So if there is one a fire there will
be. Personally I like to do a stealth camp with no fire pits. Where I grew
up we made our fires and knew how not to burn the place down.
