2022-06-17 Thread William Bryce via RE-wrenches
Hi Jay

Don’t think anyone else chimed in on this so I will.

Have use 2 different units.

One is all China and works pretty good. But it’s using China hardware and
China servers.

Search on eBay for Konlen Smart Controller I have one and it’s been great.

For a NA option you have Paremtech PTLevel WiFI. This it the best if you
just need reliable monitoring. Expensive but I have install 2 of them with
No issues.

Hope this helps

Carl,

We are fans of the Rooftech RT Mini product for applications that don't
allow us to employ rafter attachments. We are primarily a SnapNrack
installer and the RT Mini base works well with the SNR uppers. We have
been using them for perhaps four years, maybe five and have seen no issue
in that (albeit somewhat short) period of time.

Another option might be looking into Ironridge XR1000 rails which have much
higher spans than the normal 48" (up to 12' depending on snow loading).

Morning Carl,

You might be able to upsize your rails and get that allowable span.

Or deck attachments I like are the Ecofasten.

[RE-wrenches] Direct to decking racking attachments

2022-06-17 Thread Carl Adams via RE-wrenches
I have an upcoming project with a pitched shingle roof. Trusses are 4'
O.C. in one area and 8' O.C. in another. We intend to attach to the
trusses to the extent possible but will need some direct to decking
attachments in order to maintain maximum rail cantilever and 4' O.C.
attachment interval. I am looking for suggestions on the best direct to
decking attachment hardware for this.
