Re: [RE-wrenches] Iron Edison Lithium SOC drift
One of my clients had to do this a couple years back, and it did seem to reset the %SOC of each BMS. I however was not able to be there for it due to long travel distance. Iron Edison is no longer in business, so I don't know how much tech support you are going to get Dan Fink Owner, Buckville Energy Consulting LLC IREC Certified Instructor for PV and Small Wind Installation NABCEP Certified PV System Inspector NABCEP PV Associate d anbo...@gmail.com 970-672-4342 On Thu, Jun 29, 2023 at 6:05 AM Jeremy Rodriguez via RE-wrenches < re-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org> wrote: > We have about 20 units out in service. > All of the batteries SOC readings have drifted apart greatly. [RE-wrenches] Iron Edison Lithium SOC drift
We have about 20 units out in service. All of the batteries SOC readings have drifted apart greatly. IE always said not pay attention the battery readouts, and as long as voltage is even, that the batteries are working fine. After the last install we did of their batteries, their tech support group had me make up a cable to hook up a computer to the battery to re - set the BMS I believe. I’m scheduled with a new tech support channel for Iron Edison to take this on. Has anyone done this before , and is it really going to do any good ?
