The idea is that we want to fully support both versions. If you (or anybody 
else, for that matter) encounter compatibility problems, please let us know.

4.6.x should be fine. 

I had to update kdelibs tarball once more, now we should be final and release 
will be asap: 

c19cc1a2488fd7fd5543ff0061de9087  kdelibs-4.4.90.tar.bz2
