Re: [Repeater-Builder] GE Mastr II parts
Hi Bob, You won't know until you ask the seller for the part number. But for the price I would not fuss over trivial matters such as what split it is. The rest of it is worth that just for the spare parts. -Richard From: n...@no6b.com n...@no6b.com To: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com Sent: Monday, September 14, 2009 9:30:18 PM Subject: Re: [Repeater-Builder] GE Mastr II parts At 9/14/2009 10:57, you wrote: Hi Gilles?xml: namespace prefix = o ns = urn:schemas- microsoft- com:office: office / The easiest place is eBay, here is one for sale right now. http://cgi.ebay. com/GE-MASTR- II-UHF-Receiver_ W0QQitemZ2303762 91330QQcmdZViewI temQQptZLH_ DefaultDomain_ 0?hash=item35a37 f3c02_trksid= p3286.c0. m14http://cgi.ebay. com/GE-MASTR- II-UHF-Receiver_ W0QQitemZ2303762 91330QQcmdZViewI temQQptZLH_ DefaultDomain_ 0?hash=item35a37 f3c02_trksid= p3286.c0. m14 How do we know it's an 88-split UHF (450-470 MHz)? [Repeater-Builder] AEG KX series Repeaters / transceivers
I got hold of a bunch of radios that appear to be coming from the Dutch police. They seem to be working around 80 MHz and are fairly recent. I cannot find any info on the net on how to program them, neither any technical manuals. It is the KX series of AEG (telefunken ?) Can anybody help me getting schematics and/or software, or contact details of anybody who might be able to help ? Pedro ON7WP
[Repeater-Builder] Programming of X9000 with Handheld controller
Hi Folks, I put this out on Batlabs, but haven't heard anything, so I thought I'd try here. I got a couple of VHF X9000s that have the hand held controller, with Securenet stuff inside. I've programmed many 'normal' X9000s before, but can't seem to get this guy to talk. (the computer isn't the issue, as I have been using same old dos computer for a while). I just get the error message Serial Bus Error, Busy Line locked. any clues? Thanks, Tim W5FN

Re: [Repeater-Builder] Free to good home
Free to good home: GE Mastr II EC ICOMs. I have more of these than I can count. They are starting to be like tribbles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribble) and are appearing EVRYWHERE!! These are the UHF species (Will work on any band) - Both males and females are available. (TxRx) I won't guarantee you'll get even numbers of Tx/Rx, they'll be on the same frequency, etc.; but you'll definitely get your money's worth!! Just pay shipping and tell me how many you want. Re: [Repeater-Builder] Programming of X9000 with Handheld controller
If it has a little grey box the size of the siren box, in the middle with a key on the front and a bunch of db-9 and db-25 connectors on the back, you have to have special software to talk to the radio and the grey box. [Repeater-Builder] Re: Programming of X9000 with Handheld controller
Hi Mike, There are actually two boxes between the radio the HHCH. One is a little smaller than a siren box, and has cutouts for something that looks like perhaps a key hole, plus some other cutouts places for LEDs to shine through, although inside the box is only two connectors with PCB jumpers between them. (HNN4015A) The second box looks like a RIB box case. (HLN1170A SP01). Inside there is a PCB with some traces what looks to be places for perhaps an EPROM, but there is nothing populated but connectors jumpers. I've looked at all of the documentation here on Batlabs, but nothing talks about the programming of the radio. Thanks! [Repeater-Builder] Controller Recomendations
I'm working on a project for the local ham club to build and install a UHF linking hub repeater and down the road add a low power vhf repeater to the site that's linked through a controller. I've used the Link Comm RLC-4's and CraField CD-3 controllers before I'm looking for an inexpensive solution that still is a quality product. Nothing to fancy is required. What are people using for similar set ups? Sean VE6SAR
