Re: [Repeater-Builder] Ariels, Aerials, Antenna, Antennae?
That's easy. The first is my daughter's name. The others are transducers. grinning, 73 de Daniel KB3MUN BTW, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antenna_%28radio%29 and http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/login.jsp?url=http%3A%2F%2Fieeexplore.ieee.org%2Fiel5%2F74%2F4454692%2F04455907.pdf%3Farnumber%3D4455907authDecision=-203 if you were looking for definitional help instead of sympathy. daniel On 30-Aug-2010 19:48, Gordon Cooper wrote: Here down under, we are presently working through a District Planning exercise where the City Fathers think that the words Antenna and Aerial mean two quite different things. Re: [Repeater-Builder] HTX-404 ptt pinout
HTX-404 HT ... pinouts... Does http://kb7tbt.com/manuals/ help? About halfway down is the Radio Shack list, including HTX-404--the first entry ( http://www.kb7tbt.com/manuals/Radio%20Shack/Radio%20Shack%20HTX-404%20Owners%20Manual%20and%20Schematic.zip ) seems to have it all, several times over. 73 de Daniel KB3MUN
Re: [Repeater-Builder] Hard Line Coax Connectors
Is there any interest in a mess of hardline connectors, the type used by the cable TV outfits? Walt, I would be interested in 1/2 and 3/4 sized connectors of the CATV hardline. I have just acquired some and am starting to think about necessary connectors. I'm new to this stuff, so any tips or best-practices would be well received. I was considering adapting the PL-259 connector using the threaded-to-sweat copper fitting as described a couple of places on the 'net. 73 de Daniel KB3MUN

Azman may have been referring to this link for HT to HT: http://www.hs9dmc.com/repeater/vox/handy-to-handy_kitchen-house.htm The schematic and pictures transcend the language barrier. The second grouping from the bottom seems to be the collection of repeating interfaces. Hovering the mouse over the links will show the link name in the status bar. From that, you can determine the content of the other links in the group. 73 de Daniel KB3MUN gervais wrote: Hi Azman well i have checked the web site, it is written in a language that i dont understand,, i only see pictogramm ,,,it must be the letters. but thanks anyway it was appreciated gervais ve2ckn *From:* Azman Ismail mailto:azman4...@yahoo.com.my *Sent:* Wednesday, September 02, 2009 10:46 PM *To:* Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com mailto:Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com *Subject:* Re: [Repeater-Builder] COR board for simple repeater??
