[Repeater-Builder] Motorola MSR 2000 parts needed.

2010-01-01 Thread kc7stw
Hello all in the group.

I am looking to build as close to a factory MSR 2000 repeater station as I can.
I am looking for some cards.

1) Squelch gate,
1) CW IDer card. (just want it for the card and black face)

any other cards that can be used for the fun of it. PL or DPL cards for TX and
RX of PL/DPL or reeds 141.3 or ???

I have items for the MSR 2000 that I will trade, or cash.

1) 100 watt full duty PA VHF
1) RX board with element VHF
1) TX board with element
2) Intercom cards
2) Station control
2) R1 Audio
2) Line driver
1) repeater station with out power supply. (DC only version) in the 19inch
case.

Thanks for any help. Just a side project of mine.

OK you MSR-2000 guys... there's a Manual available on
Ebay... it's the Station Control Manual, which is the
Service Manual for the Modules (Cards) in the back plane
(chassis) but you should have this book along with the
matching RF Manual for your repeater service needs. The
smart way to go would be to have the other two RF Manuals,
one for VHF and the other for the UHF Package as I believe
only the VHF RF Manual has the Power Supply information
unless you have a special version of the book.

 1 - Narrow Band

Note that narrow-band in this case is the 'old' narrowband, ie, 15Khz
spacing, not the current narrowband that's half that.

Can anyone tell me about this model Number?

2007-01-21 Thread Eric Lemmon
I think your model number (note that the 5 should be an S) breaks down
like this:

AC - Built in Canada
C - Compa Station cabinet
4 - 40 watts
3 - 136-174 MHz (split is not specified)
KSB - MSR2000 Repeater
1 - Carrier Squelch
1 - Narrow Band
00 - Single frequency TX and RX
AT2 - Version level

I have heard of some Canadian MSR2000 stations that were numbered as if they
were repeaters, but were base stations.

[Repeater-Builder] Motorola MSR-2000 VHF manuals?

2005-03-04 Thread Bob Burns K4RXR

Yep, the used car analogy certainly applies. Whatever the market will bear.

I'm looking for the manuals for an MSR-2000 VHF. According to the Repeater
Builder web site, and confirmed by Motorola parts, the ones I want are:

68-81061E40
68-81061E50

The manuals are $61 each new from Motorola and are available as of yesterday.

Anybody have a used set they'd be interested in selling?

Thanks!

Bob...

2004-09-24 Thread kd6hcn
I recently came into possesion of several complete
units removed from service of the msr2000 repeaters on
uhf band.

Can anyone tell me what these unit are worth on the
open market?

Additionally I came into possesion of several maxtrac
300 mobile units, I think the D44 model.

Regards, Barry

P.S. I remember someone asking about the maxtrac stuff.

A 35 Watt, Base (no repeater control card) in the 403 to 430 has a buy it
now price on ebay of $269. Yours would be worth more. Beware, the MSR is
NOT continuous duty.PA's will burn.

Maxtrac 300's in VHF are around $200 on ebay. As the man said, your mileage
may vary.
