I just received back a letter that went to someone who apparently passed
away several years ago, and they are still in the database.

I'm glad this guy's name wasn't Robert Smith! ;->

I did a search for Nick Heiniger and found a listing for a senior in

in 2004 and the other was located in Forster, New South Wales, Austrailia.

A white pages search found this:

I would not send money my self. But
if he is a silent key he would not be listed.
They sent in to the FCC that my Grandfather had passed and he was out of the
data base real quick. The up side is that the radio club wanted and got his
old call.

Well, aren't older hams dropping like flies? Sorry to be blunt, but I've
been reading of a lot of hams passing away lately. I keep on finding
folks I haven't talked with since some Dayton in the 80's or so, and
feeling sad about them Friends I'm not going to see again.

So why should this not be real? Don't forget, there is fraud
EVERYWHERE. The best fraud looks the most polished of all.

yard sale.
Its a radio tester - 300khz to 1000Mhz, has a signal generator,
tracking generator, ocilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power meter and
lots more. It has some scratches and wear on the outer case. the
front panel is clean and shows little wear. Both of the displays are
bright and clear and comes with a AC power cord and a dc power cord
and a big manual.
