Hi Chris,

Very sorry for being that slow… I’ll be on vacation starting next week, I’ll 
get back to you at that point and do it properly with a reproducible pdf 
example and everything…

Hm, interesting. Can you provide the full output of:

  $ diffoscope --debug a.pdf b.pdf

Could you elaborate here? Is this something we should know about
and/or is a bug? (If so, please file a separate issue!)

I had a few dependencies problems with pdftotext and pdftk (I’m under Mac OS), 
but in the end found it and installed it.

But now when I run it on 2 PDFs, I get the program on stall, not doing anything 
after a few seconds. top tells me there is no diffoscope running, but there is 
a pdftk in sleep mode.
