*Position : Network Data Engineer*
*​Location : Tri-state ( New York or New jersey)*
*Duration : 6+Months *

*Mandatory Skills : *


   - The ideal candidate will must have *9 years’* experience in *Multicast
   , BGP, Firewalls.*
   - *Cisco Certifications, CCNA or CCNP* an essential skill.
   - *Banking* domain knowledge is a plus.

*Key Responsibilities / Role:*


   - Need strong networking skills to be able to work on Palo Alto
   Firewalls, Arista and Cisco routers with an understanding of BGP and
   Multicast in particular.
   - Responsible for delivering integrated network solutions based on the
   Network hardware platform and client specific requirements.
   - Day to day maintenance and support of network infrastructure.
   - Ad hoc / on-call support during weekdays and weekend work is required.
   - Change Management – Maintain the integrity of the production
   environment.
   - Production DR Setup and Testing support.
   - Troubleshooting of network incidents and ensure infrastructure
   availability and integrity.
   - Actively participate in incident and problem management tasks.
   - Ensure the operation of the infrastructure is in accordance with
   established procedures and practices.
   - Regular monitoring of network infrastructure, publishing daily health
   status report to concerned distribution groups and fix the issues whenever
   required.
   - Whenever infrastructure availability, integrity or performances are
   compromised, the System Administrator will ensure that prompt and competent
   action is undertaken.
   - This role will work with other technical teams in the support and
   enhancement of the core infrastructure to ensure better reliability and
   resilience, whilst at the same time making the environment more cost
   effective.
   - This may include making recommendations about enhancements to the
   existing infrastructure.
