The primary function of this particular developer consists of planning, designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring and documenting cognos framework manager & associated reports. This includes support of the following: Application, User Interface, Training, Report/Dashboard development. Responsibilities · Gather requirements for Ad hoc projects as well as take requirements for projects and design, develop, implement, and support the Cognos Framework. · Develop meaningful reports and Dashboard for any business needs. · Investigate data issues uncovered during the use of Cognos. · Support users on the use of all projects deployed in the Cognos environment. · Provide system support for the Cognos environment. · Training in a group setting as well as one on one for any Cognos topics. Must Haves · Strong SQL/Database development skills · Experience building Cognos Framework Packages & building reports using Query Studio · Great communication & leadership skills · Experience working independently · Familiar with Agile/Iterative development environments Nice to Haves - Experience working on Cognos 10.1 environment - Experience building Cognos Reports for Manhattan WMS and/or Sterling Commerce OMS 9.2 systems - Experience with Cognos installation & configuration · Experience working in large DW environments (1+ TB of Data; Tables with 1BB+ rows) utilizing an MPP database (Netezza Preferred) · Experience working with Oracle OLTP databases Thanks & Regards *Shilpa * IT Recruiter.
