experience specific to MS Project (advanced knowledge on the tool’s
features and usages) and Project management (methodologies). Performing
analyst(or PM) role/job throughout the carrier with zero/minimal technical
experience (i.e. software languages) but very strong communication skill is
preferred here.They need to have a pure analyst background rather than a
technical background.

The  analyst will be working under the IT Governance team with the focus on
project delivery governance.   The analyst will be the point of contact of
IT Governance team for one of the four IT portfolios.  He/She  will be
working closely with IT leaders, project managers,  IT and/or business
users, as well as Finance and other IT business management teams and
provide the support and information needed for IT project prioritization,
planning, and governance.   The analyst is expected to have in-depth
knowledge and understanding of general and United IT specific Governance
processes and tools, and able to guide and support IT portfolio team
throughout project initiation, planning, execution and closeout phases.

*Knowledge/Skills/Experiences:*

· 2 or more years of experience in an IT or business environment
required

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

· 1 or more years of experience in Project Management and/or PMO
capacity required

· Experience at working both independently and in a team
environment is essential

· Knowledge and experience of using MS Project Professional,
Project Server and SharePoint are required

· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

· Proficient user of MS Excel, Visio, Power Point and Word

· Knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodology dared

· Strong communication skills both oral and written.  Comfortable
giving training and presentations to large group of audience

· Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources,
including leadership, business and IT users from different portfolio or
departments

· Adaptive to changes.  Demonstrates flexibility with assignments,
timelines and/or priorities

· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a
high-pressure environment preferred

*Responsibilities:*

1.   Ensure adherence of United IT governance process (intake,
prioritization, funding, delivery and close out etc.).  Provide on-going
training and coaching to IT Portfolios/Project Managers on United IT
governance process

2.   Provide on-going support to Project Managers and IT users on IT
project management tool (Project Server and Sharepoint)  related questions
and issues

3.   Ensure Follow the defined IT governance process, support portfolio
team/project managers in scope management, demand forecast, schedule
management, timesheets management, and financial management etc.

4.   Conduct regular project data (project financials, resources,
schedule, timesheets, actuals and forecast etc.) analysis and audit.  Work
with Project Managers and Portfolio PMO team to ensure/improve project data
integrity in Project Server.

5.   Support IT Governance process definition, revision and roll out

6.   Monitor and measure portfolio project delivery KPIs.   Create
reports to assist Portfolio teams, PMs and IT Leadership with project
prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery governance etc.

7.   Gather and document requirements for process and/or Project Server
tool enhancements

8.   Identify training needs.   Develop and maintain training
materials.  Conduct formal training sessions on governance process and tools

9.   Analyze and resolve Project Server issues (timesheets, project
schedules, resource forecast, resources records and reporting etc.), or
work with subject matter experts to resolve Project Server issues

10.   Work with project managers and IT Finance team to identify and
resolve discrepancies around project financial data.

11.   May perform other duties as assigned by the
