The successful candidate will bring strong development experience to the technical teams and will demonstrate a strong capability to work across multiple teams to deliver value to our business partners. The Java Application Developer, E-Commerce is responsible for but not limited to: * Design and develop high-volume, low-latency J2EE based e-commerce applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance * Write well designed, testable, efficient code * Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review * Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications * Work closely with QA and Operations to ensure smooth QA and deployment of applications *Required Qualifications* * BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject * 5+ years of hands-on software development experience * 3+ years of experience designing and developing applications on the Java/J2EE platforms * Experience with development of e-commerce applications, particularly with Oracle ATG platform products (commerce, CSC, BCC) * Applied knowledge of Design Patterns * Strong applied knowledge of object oriented concepts and software design patterns * Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc) * Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies * Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Struts, JSF, Spring MVC, etc.) * Experience with test-driven development * Applied knowledge of user interface (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc) design & development * Must be highly organized and detail-orientated * Must have the ability to work closely with team members * Good verbal and communication skills * Flexible, motivated self-starter --------------------------- Thanks & Regards Srikanth Acharya Kindly submit your consultant profile to above Email ID.
