*Position*: Peoplesoft Financials Developer *Duration*: Contract *Location*: Washington DC Our client has been using PeopleSoft Financials as its production financials application with the following modules: General Ledger, Commitment Control, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, and Asset Management. Since October 2013, the client has used version 9.1, tools 8.54. The client uses Oracle Access Management and Oracle Virtual Directory single sign-on functionality for PeopleSoft with Active Directory. PeopleSoft is also integrated with several Oracle WebCenter applications including Imaging, and Content, Document Capture (ODC), Forms Recognition (OFR), and the Oracle SOA Suite, and the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Public Sector Budget and Planning application. In addition to normal production support activities such as adding new reports and enhancements, the PeopleSoft Financials application will be upgraded to 9.2 during the timeframe of this task order. Several other projects may also be underway: supporting the physical inventory and other asset related processes, preparing for upgrading PeopleSoft to 9.2, enhancing the single sign-on functionality, upgrading to Oracle 12c, determining Contract Management requirements, evaluating Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) and other Identity Management functionality, and upgrading Oracle Access Management. The client is seeking a PeopleSoft Technical Specialist/Developer to support the cleint's ERP PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 application as well as its continued development and testing including an upgrade to 9.2. The resource will also support technical aspects of the physical inventory and other asset related processes. The focus of the PeopleSoft Technical Specialist/Developer will be developing new reports and customizations, updating existing reports and functionality, and providing analysis and troubleshooting. The resource will retrofit objects as needed for maintenance packs and upgrades. Integration Broker, application messaging, and other integration functionality may be utilized. The Technical Specialist/Developer will assist the PeopleSoft support staff, working directly with the other developers, the system administrators, and the functional teams. *RESPONSIBILITIES: * - Support the client's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application, as well as its continued development, testing, patching, and integration with a primary focus on the Asset Management module, but also with other PeopleSoft modules and related application - Support the upgrade to PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 - Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the House; - Assist staff with monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, reporting, and reconciling - Asset Management activity, especially as it interacts with other modules Our Client is seeking a Functional Specialist to support the GL and other modules. The focus of the Functional Specialist will be the General Ledger and Commitment Controls modules and their interaction with the other modules. The Functional Specialist will potentially assist with other modules the House is currently using or may implement. The Functional Specialist will assist the PeopleSoft support staff and will work directly with the business users of the application. *2. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE* Six months. *SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES* 4.1 Support the House's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application, as well as its continued development, testing, analysis, issue resolution, and integration with a primary focus on the General Ledger and Commitment Controls modules. Tasks include supporting the Finance staff directly and indirectly, reviewing requirements, providing design recommendations, configuring changes, testing delivered and custom functionality, analysis, and issue resolution; 4.2. The Functional Specialist will also assist with other PeopleSoft modules and related applications, potentially including integration with Oracle’s Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Public Sector Budget and Planning solution 4.3 Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the House, especially for the Accounting and Budget Policy & Planning staff 4.4 Assist staff with year-end activities, financial audit activities, monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, reporting, and reconciling Purchasing activity, especially as it interacts with General Ledger, Commitment Control, and other modules 4.5 Support the upgrade of the House's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application from the current 9.1, PeopleTools 8.54 version to 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.55 4.6 Assist with entry events and the interaction of the sub-modules feeding General Ledger. *6. SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS* 6.1 Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with the General Ledger and Commitment Control modules in PeopleSoft Financials with relevant experience in version 9.1 6.2 Knowledge and experience working with the flow of accounting transactions and overall interaction between General Ledger, Commitment Control, and other modules 6.3 Knowledge and experience working with at least some of the other modules the House is currently using: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, Asset Management, and Purchasing.
