*Location:* Columbus, Ohio *Duration:* 7 Months *C2C Rate:* $45.00/HR Maxxxxxxx * * *Description: * Analyzes, develops, tests and implements database designs in support of corporate and client area technology requirements. Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, monitoring of standards and procedures, access methods and time, validation checks, organization and statistical methods. Responsible for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and backup and recovery. Executes database software installation, database creations/configurations and loads. *Roles and Responsibilities:* • Perform general database monitoring and maintenance activities. • Monitor the peregrine queue and resolve tickets raised against the DEV and UAT databases. • Apply Oracle patches to database instances. • Monitor database backups. Test and document recovery procedures. • Administer Oracle Application Server and APEX environments. • Assist application teams with SQL tuning. • Provide status reports and appropriate metrics to client. *Skills:* • Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle database administration in a Unix environment. • Minimum 3 years of experience with Shell, SQLPLUS, and PL/SQL • Minimum 1 year experience working in an Oracle 11g environment • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control • Oracle RAC experience desired • Oracle Application Server, APEX, BI Publisher, Cognos, and Informatica administration experience is a plus -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "REQSRESUMES" group.
