We utilize newer Java coding technologies and implement where appropriate. Experience with technologies like struts, Ajax, seam and application servers like jboss is required. Software code management and Oracle database, 10G, is also a must. Must be able to work well within a team and have excellent oral and written communication skills since this position will be responsible for dealing with the end customer in an ongoing basis. Additional requirements to be aware of: • The developer will be communicating with a variety of people, (business, IT technical teams, etc), so they must have very clear communication. • Individual must have solid SQL skills • Individual should have experience working with large volume applications. • Individual must also have solid testing skills as they will be responsible for unit testing and system testing and assisting with UAT when required. • Individual must be able to work well with the team, offering development assistance and asking for development assistance when needed.
