The Senior Telecom Engineer should have experience in telecommunications or
related network field, such as data network design with experience designing
and/or engineering telecommunication network systems installations
Position Requirements:Plan, design, build, configure and commission
telecommunications devices, networks and systems, such as; voice, Internet,
data, microwave and ensure telecommunications systems interconnect with
equipment from different manufacturers, different service providers and
different users Compile engineering project proposals to define goals,
identify scope, background and need, and ascertain cost of equipment, parts and
services. -Prepare and interpret specifications, drawings and
regulations for the use of telecommunications equipment.-Assist with
evaluation and procurement of new products and services from
vendors.-Comply with laws, regulations, policies and procedures in the
provision of telecommunications systems.-Assist with selection and
development of new telecommunications site(s) by; locating site, preparing
appropriate documentation and drafting construction drawings for
approval.-Determine appropriate configurations of telecommunications
hardware and software to ensure desired performance of telecommunications
equipment.-Determine the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers,
circuit-breakers, transmission lines and related equipment.-Monitor
