Re: [ros-dev] Vote for removing rapps DB from trunk

2015-06-01 Thread Hermès BÉLUSCA - MAÏTO
Hi ! Yep, get rid of these rapps db files from the trunk and move them
elsewhere (so that each time they are updated we won’t have useless new
revision numbers for the main trunk)..

Cheers,

Hermès.

Objet : [ros-dev] Vote for removing rapps DB from trunk

Hey guys,

as some of you might have seen already we now have two copies of the more and
more increasing RAPPS DB in trunk. This is:

a) Absolutely unnecessary and does only result in one thing, two differing DBs

b) Shows even more that it’s not useful to have it in trunk at all.

Because of this I start a vote now to get your opinion in completely removing
the RAPPS DB from trunk into a subtree like done for many other things, too.

What do you think?

Greetings

Daniel Reimer

Hi,

With such idea, we could envision automatic cab generation on commit to
avoid devs to do it, so that any change done to it would be taken into
account without further human processing.

Re: [ros-dev] Vote for removing rapps DB from trunk

2015-05-30 Thread Michael Fritscher
Hi,

if I'm right this database is downloaded by the tool at runtime, isn't it?
So it isn't needed to build a reactos-iso whith useful rapps, is it? Then
it could be moved in my opinion.

Best regards,
Michael Fritscher
