Turns out there were some very dumb bugs in the bitfield accessor
method maker. I fixed them all (I hope!) and added a test to confirm
the fix. It's checked into CVS now.
I might wait for a few more bugs to spool up before I release 0.61,
but in the meantime a new version of
Rose::DB::Object::MakeMethods::Generic is attached to this email.
Install it and the bug should go away.

Oh, and for your self-contained tests, it'd be convenient for me if
you didn't name your test modules DB.pm and Base.pm. The first
conflicts with the Perl debugger package of the same name, and the
second ends up conflicting with base.pm on non-case-sensitive file
systems like HFS+ (which is what I run). Thanks! :)
