The only thing I'd suggest is that it might be handy to give the 
location of the lock file.

I have a vague recollection of, a couple of years ago, exporting the Hydrogen 
file as a midi file, and then importing that into Rosegarden, and it seemed to 
work fine.  Maybe direct import isn't needed anyway?
