Hi,

I have MIDI guitars that I have successfully used to enter notation into RG.

I have two queries.

1. when I enter chords into the Main window (and later view that input
in the notation editor), i sometimes get chords (i.e. notes in a
vertical line) but, usually, I get a mash up of 32nd notes close to
each other but not in a vertical line. I'm guessing RG has detected
minuscule time lapses between each string as I played the chord. I'm
guessing I can resolve this (turn the group of notes into a chord)
using quantization (as advised by Ted Felix in the list). Does
anyone have any guidance on how to do this? Is it simply a case of
choosing the minimum note duration and can this work with
quantization as I'm inputting, as opposed to afterwards.
2. about the guitar-specific elements and how to notate these (either
during real-time input or afterwards in Notation Editor... I'm
talking about things like: hammer-ons and pull-offs, string bends
(occasionally two strings at a time), sliding between notes. To be
honest, it goes on and on but, just taking these basic things, I
can't find anything to help with how to notate this (not in the
manual anyway). Is there a place to look for how to do this
   guitar-specific stuff.

Mike
