[Rosegarden-user] How to print chord name on top of the chord diagram?

2012-08-13 Thread G. de Silva
Hi,

Just wondering whether there is a way to print the chord name on top of
the chord diagram when using the Notation Editor?

Many thanks.

Some playing, experimentation, and reading, and the answer is no.

LilyPond doesn't have a neat and tidy way to do this directly that I can find,
so even if we implemented it in-house, it would be useless.

You could probably achieve something like what you want through some
combination of awkward fiddling to combine different things, like a text mark
or something, but I sincerely doubt it would come out well at all.
