I don't have any experience with using git submodules, but I assume
that is a vote for debugedit being its own small project. It also
sounds like an ideal setup to do continious integration testing by
simply update the submodule and run the flat-builder testsuite to make
sure the debugedit submodule didn't break anything.

I will once I setup the buildbot, it probably is something to do with
the gpg setup. error: Unknown option --token-type=0
