I built iozone and HandBrake recently. Besides, the application of Fedora inactive provenpackager policy has not been discussed in RPM Fusion at all and even if it had been and even if it did apply in my case, it would've been fair to notify affected provenpackagers, including myself, before revoking their provenpackager access. I wasn't notified, it doesn't apply and it wasn't discussed. So, again, please reinstate my provenpackager access or state your real reason for removing it. I removed other people from the group due to inactivity or need. Fedora does similar. https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/de...@lists.fedoraproject.org/thread/AS2YFCRE6ITN4VS6MVJ566CCSLKDYQCU/#VEXK5T5XAONVTB46VVBJVTWLCBUYAVWI You haven't used the proven packager rights for over 2 years. https://koji.rpmfusion.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=13086 On 10/04/2022 16:17, Dominik Mierzejewski wrote: Dear developers, On Sunday, 10 April 2022 at 07:40, accou...@rpmfusion.org wrote: leigh123linux has removed you from the 'provenpackager' group of the Fedora Accounts System This change is effective immediately for new operations, and should propagate into the e-mail aliases within an hour. Now, I'm going to assume that Leigh did this because he became angry at me for some reason and, in anger, decided to assert his control over the RPM Fusion accounts system. We all get angry sometimes. It's OK. What's not OK is taking away access from a contributor that has no history of abusing that access without any discussion whatsoever. So, Leigh, please reinstate my provenpackager access and let's discuss why you think it's appropriate that I should lose it publicly. I do not believe I've ever abused my access or worked against RPM Fusion in any way. On the contrary, I think I've always acted in the best interest of both RPM Fusion and Fedora. If anyone thinks otherwise, please elaborate.
