I use a systemd timer + service to do this automatically.

$ cat letsencrypt-renew.timer
[Unit]
Description=Let's Encrypt renew timer

[Timer]
OnBootSec=300
OnUnitActiveSec=1w

$ cat letsencrypt-renew.service
[Unit]
Description=Let's Encrypt Renewal

[Service]
ExecStart=/usr/bin/certbot renew --post-hook "/usr/bin/systemctl 
--no-block restart httpd"
