Hello,
Thanks for taking care of mplayer.
What are the developments ?
- https://github.com/rpmfusion have a mirror of all sources , at least
people could know the state of updates and build in on others arches
- if spectool -g foo.spec doesn't download the sources , we should
upload sources to old infra with old make new-sources FILES="foo"
- and, please, do not forget update the sources file on git (md5sum
foo.tar.bz2 > sources)

BTW what is the state of gstreamer (packages to 1.6.x ) for F23 ? you
need help?

Thanks,

Hi,

I have now pushed mplayer-1.2 to both f22 and master branches. Btw,
should we switch to github now, or continue using kwizart.net?

Fixed and fixes pushed to Git. I don't know how to request builds,
though. NOTE: I haven't tested on armv7hl.

We will probably be using the lastest ffmpeg-2.8.1 altought it's not
completely well known for the amount of work to make that very recent
version fit.
Right now x265 and xvidcore are failing.

 https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3795

development/23 is basically f22 packaged resigned with the f23 key,

As we can see/deduce, kwizart open a window to update F23 with
x264/ffmpeg/gst/mplayer/others , which means a mass rebuild ! and I'd
like try do it in oneshot ...

Following ImportantDependencyLists [1] I have submit x264-0.148

Having some definite plans what to do with ffmpeg for rpmfusion would
be great. I plan to update the gstreamer10-* packages to 1.6.x for
F-23 and gstreamer1-libav now is using ffmpeg rather then libav despite
its name, so I hope that I can build it against the system ffmpeg.

Hans

I'm talking with kwizart (on IRC) to insert x264 on F23 , I'm planning
re-enable asm code on i686 armv5tel armv6l , since upstream said that
should be enabled and add some work on it .

So x264 0.148, FFmpeg 2.8.x and MPlayer to 1.2 , have we a way to test
it for F23 before try built it on RPMFusion for F23

After thinking, pkgdb2 seems to be the most important, because we can
give acls to commit permissions ...

I don't think packages should have the priority. At least not until it receives
the work that we are planning on doing on it and while useful for user it does
not have an influence on the other tools (bothi2, pkgdb2).

It's probably a question for Nicholas, but is there any way I can help
with the migration to new infra? What's missing? What tasks are pending?

I'd prefer during the week. I'm usually offline during weekends.

I think bodhi2 is the most important of those you mentioned.

I could try and help, but since I have no access to the "new" infra,
I can't test-build anything for F22+ on ARM.

I'd like to update FFmpeg to 2.8.x and MPlayer to 1.2, too.

rpmfusion Fedora-23 plans ?

2015-10-12 Thread Hans de Goede

Hi All,

I'm getting requests to update the gstreamer packages to 1.6.x for Fedora-23:

https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3794
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3795
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3796

But AFAIK we are not building any packages for F-23 yet. What are the
plans here ?

Regards,

Hans
