I think each WinXP account has a can run as a servuice bit or
something like that.
But I'm no expert at it, I'm not really sure.

moved the read of the final MSG_DONE from the receiver by the
generator so that any redo-pass files are known to be done prior
to the generator starting its hard-link and dir-time munging
