Re: [rt-users] Changing Password for user
I could not find an option in 3.6.5 to allow users to change their own passwords. Unfortunately, I had to do it for them as an administrator. However, I found that in 3.6.6 and 3.8 beta 2, users now can change their own passwords. Re: [rt-users] Changing Password for user
I just looked again at my rt installations' setups, and I can't find the option to change the password at the moment. I thought it was under preferences, but I could be mistaken. Looking at email, it looks like Benjamin Weser has a suggestion as well. I searched but I didn't find any option ModifySelf in RT 3.6.5. I think I have to prepare for an upgrade. It is a right that can be granted. Configuration - Global - User Rights (or Group Rights if you'd rather do it for Requestor, everyone, etc.) IT GUY wrote: I searched but I didn't find any option ModifySelf in RT 3.6.5. http://3.6.5. Re: [rt-users] Changing Password for user
Well the job is done !!! Thanks. As a superuser one can perform it. By enabling ModifySelf option, along with the right to change the password, the user gets added rights too( Search Options, Creating Personal groups, RT at a glance).
