There isn't a good way, I also want the checkbox.
File a ticket?  It wouldn't be a ton of work to add.

Is there a way to quietly update a ticket with a note without having
to uncheck each one of our ~30 "Bcc" people at the bottom of the
'Comment' page?

Short of their being a way, an "Uncheck all" would be very welcome
in a future release.
