Development Sciences Informatics is seeking a talented and experienced Data
Engineer to build core infrastructure and solutions for data search and
integration. As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop and deploy
scalable data pipelines and scalable and resilient cloud platform
capabilities for data integration while in close collaboration with data
scientists and consumers of the data to support groundbreaking
therapeutics.



Competencies and Qualifications:

   - A hands-on engineer who is willing to get involved in a
   decision-making process
   - Experienced in implementing data lake, lake house and data warehouse
   architectures that supports data search and integration
   - Scale and Build data pipelines, database/data warehouse solutions to
   support the movement of data between different databases and applications
   with appropriate data mapping.
   - Review source data for accuracy and completeness before integrating it
   into the database
   - Creating reports that provide details on data quality issues and
   suggested solutions
   - Design, develop and debug ETL integration code to meet defined source
   to target mappings
   - Handle complex ETL requirements and design
   - Creating scripts to automate data integration processes to improve
   efficiency and reduce human error
   - Designing and implementing data security policies to protect sensitive
   information
   - Troubleshoot problems with data integration or data warehousing systems
   - Proficiency in Spark and SQL queries
   - Strong Experience with cloud platforms and Devops, preferably AWS
   - Good understanding of R processes and scientific data life cycle is
   a plus.
   - Partner with the Data Scientists to solve complex problems and create
   unique
   - solutions
   - Must be team oriented with strong collaboration, prioritization, and
   adaptability skills required
   - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and members of the team
   - Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
   Self-motivated,proactive and a team player.
   - Degree in computer sciences or related field
