*Job Description*
Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are
high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems in
support of BOP, USMS, DOJ and partners.
Delivering high availability and performance in cloud-based environments.
Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle and in test and
production systems.
Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code with supporting
documentation while being managed within the DevSecOps framework.
Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging. Managing
application development tools, resources and environments.
Ensuring designs comply with specifications, user requirements, and BOP,
USMS, and DOJ policies. Preparing and producing releases of software
components and maintaining branch structures for easy code repository
upload and management.
Working within an agile development framework, managing backlog
development, sprint, and current releases. Support continuous improvement.
Integrating with feeder systems and technologies (e.g. web services, dbcc,
etc.). Updating designs and presenting for architectural reviews

*Qualification*
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience as a Java application developer
• Senior level ability to program in Java programming language (e.g.
JavaScript or Python)
• Proven experience as a web-based application developer within
cloud-hosted environments while adhering to strict security and governance
policies
• Ability to program in at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript
or Python)
• Expertise in systems integration to include but not limited to web
services, database connectivity, and software development kits (SDKs)

Job Description:
• Organizes, directs and coordinates the planning and production of the
contract support activities to be managed.
• Manage AMaS program execution, removing impediments to flow, and risk and
dependency management. In addition, the Contractor shall align teams to a
shared business and technology mission and realize the accomplishment of a
value stream by supporting solutions that deliver benefit to the end-user.
• Maintains contact with all  teams and ensures standardization of
policies/procedures and record keeping across all teams.
• Identifies and understands dependencies between teams and development
efforts, ensuring work is executed according to those dependencies and
associated risks.

*Qualification*
• Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of experience, or Masters plus five years
of experience in Government Program and Information Technology Management
or a related field.
• Experience in staffing programs with properly trained and qualified
personnel using past efforts.
• Experience in managing programs/projects to meet the cost, schedule, and
performance parameters of the contract.
• Experience in managing agile design and development efforts using past
efforts.

*Job  Description:*
Design strategies for enterprise databases, applications, and supporting
systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security.
Design, install, configure and implement commercial of the shelf (COTS)
applications while meeting ITD governance, compliance, security, and
operational policies and standards. Integrate new systems with existing
databases, systems, and cloud infrastructure and refine system performance
and functionality. Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks,
new system evaluations, integration requirements, or technology
assignments. Responsible for submitting, tracking, and resolving COTS
issues, bugs, and enhancement requests with vendors. Establishes goals and
plans that meet project objectives as coordinated by the JPATS PMO. Has
USMS domain and partner (e.g. BOP, Capture, JDIS, etc.) expert technical
knowledge and integration familiarity using web services and APIs. Primary
stakeholder in IT activities, meetings, sessions, and events for the JPATS
PMO, having overall responsibility for requirements gathering, business
process definition, procedure/policy creation, and project schedule updates
to ensure that technical requirements and project scope, schedule and cost
are met. Interactions involve stakeholder requirement and process
negotiations and interfacing with senior agency, department, and
organization management/leadership. Decision-making and domain knowledge
may have a critical impact on overall project implementation

*Qualification:*
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 15 years’ specialized subject matter expertise that is related
to the duties
described above and that has equipped the candidate with the knowledge,
skills, and abilities
to successfully perform the work.
• Minimum 15 years’ specialized subject matter expertise in installation,
configuration,
patching, and administration of the following operating systems and COTS
software:

   - Technical knowledge of python, Pentaho, or shell scripting is required
   - Ability to interact with business users to understand business
   requirements, document them, and provide an optimal solution.
   - Past experience in leading a technical team is desired.
   - Knowledge of other analytics platforms like Epiphany, SAP BW, etc. is
   a plus.
   - Functional knowledge of common business processes like quote to cash,
   procure to pay, hire to retire, clickstream analysis, revenue, booking,
   billing, etc. is desirable.
   - Production support experience in investigating errors/exceptions and
   resolving the errors at the root level.
   - Extremely good verbal and written communication skills.

*Education:* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field or
equivalent experience.
