Position Title: Automation Tool Developer
Entity: Glow Networks
Grade: Individual Contributor
Reports To: PROJECT MANAGER
Working Hours: 40 HOURS in normal condition
Summary/Objective: Provide Automation Support and Tool Development.
Required Education/Experience and Competencies:
Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer or a
related Field from an accredited Institution.
. Must be located in the US and authorized to work in US
. Strong software development skills and design best practices
. Strong Development experience development experience in Python and
C and C+.
. Strong Experience with VBA
. Java scripts, REST/JSON are a plus.
. Must be very familiar with Linux as development environment
. Knowledge of Data networking and IP routing is a plus
. Ability to be organized in your work and able break down complex
project to manageable delivery milestones
. Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision and are
a self-starter
. Able to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency,
and risks; and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best
interests of the project.
. Advanced written and verbal communications skills, including the
ability to succinctly and clearly express ideas internally and directly to
customer through email, phone, face to face and other means
. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Essential Functions:
As an Automation Tools Developer Co-op for Nokia you will be responsible for
developing internal tools.
Develop solutions targeted to help automate manual procedures used by
customer engineering teams in their customer.
Engagements for pre and post-sale activities. Develop Automation tools that
are focused on configuration and test of carrier-grade routing equipment.
Other Functions
. Manage Deadlines
. Manage Project Meetings and Action Registers
. Weekly Reports as required
. Lead Technical and Project Discussions and Conduct the same
