Job function: The candidate would assist the team in rolling out security patches across production hosts. As production hosts are patched, the candidate is expected to: a) roll out PayPal infrastructure software to the hosts b) monitor the hosts for production readiness Skills: 1. 7 years of software engineering around DevOps, automation with good experience in scripting languages, strong familiarity with Linux system commands, monitoring. 2. Good debugging skills 3. Exposure to DevOps automation tools like puppet 4.
