Role: SR. EDI Developer Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 1 Year Job Description: . EDI developer required with 7 - 8 years of IT experience . Minimum 4+ years of experience in using IBM Sterling EDI products * Extensive experience on BPML (Business process mapping Language) development for creating business processes within Sterling product suite * Specific knowledge of EDI, E-Commerce and Business-to-Business solutions to include Sterling Integrator. * Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, and maintaining SI environments, networks, and clusters. * Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience. * Working technical knowledge of coding Business Process Modeling Language - BPML and XML. * Knowledge of database concepts or database administration desired. * Knowledge of SFTP, AS2, HTTP and TCP/IP protocols and configuration of associated SI Adapters and Services. * Knowledge of Sterling Integrator Mapper, experience coding Extended rules utilizing User Exits and passing data to and from a Business Process * Provide expertise in SI Systems Administration, activities to include general troubleshooting, system performance tuning, applying vendor-supplied patches, Trading Partner setup and management. * Develop, implement and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications and upgrades to SI business objects. * Transactional data management including archiving and purging, import and export of data objects, and data refreshes of Development, QA and Production environments.
