[sage-devel] PyPI organization sagemath

To avoid duplicate efforts, a quick note that I have applied to create an 
organization "sagemath" in PyPI. (PyPI orgs are a new feature - 
https://blog.pypi.org/posts/2023-04-23-introducing-pypi-organizations/)

I don't know when this was created. What you see in the web archive is
somewhat what the cocalc website was. It has changed since then. Regarding
DNS: as you can see via dig, it's a cname to wstein.org:

$ dig sage.sagemath.org
[...]
;; ANSWER SECTION:
sage.sagemath.org. 295 IN CNAME wstein.org.

which isn't working as intended. I deleted the entry. There is certainly
more in *.sagemath.org that could be cleaned up.

the misnaming of the host (how is sage.sagemath.org is relevant to cocalc,
besides the latter offering to run Sage for you, and William's ties to Sage
?) is one of the ways the *predator* advertising is operating.

This is the primary reason for me to have it removed.

The site cocalc.com has been a link in the upper right-hand corner of
the main SageMath webpage for quite some time. Wouldn't that, which
*can* be construed as an ad, be the thing that annoys you and Frederic
more?

I would think the annoying thing wouldn't be the implicit ad for cocalc
(which BTW doesn't bother me) but that cocalc.com doesn't appear
to link back to the SageMath main site. At least, I couldn't find it in
a quick perusal.
