And upgrade from v4.x to v6.2 can be done without loosing the config.
There is some info on http://www.woodstone.nu/salive/howtoupgrade.asp
Even with a OS upgrade done too (Windows 2003 is the latest supported server
OS).

For what it's worth, I uninstalled the program, deleted the Salive
folder from C:\Program Files, and I deleted the Registry keys, rebooted,
reinstalled, and then I got the correct version.

Make sure that the application and the Servers Alive service are NOT
running before doing the upgrade. Also the upgrade will upgrade within
the first directory that contains a serversalive.exe file (by default).
Could it that you had/have several serversalive.exe files on the system?
And that the icon/shortcut that you're using is pointing to another
directory then the one you used for the upgrade?

Only one version of serversalive.exe installed.  I may not have stopped
the service before I did the installation.  I did stop the service and
verified that servers alive was not running when I uninstalled it.
However, upon reinstallation I'm finding that it still says I have the
old version.  I'm going to download the new version again and see what
happens...

If the ABOUT still gives 1330, then you're running 1330.
Make sure that the application and the Servers Alive service are NOT running
before doing the upgrade.
Also the upgrade will upgrade within the first directory that contains a
serversalive.exe file (by default).
Could it that you had/have several serversalive.exe files on the system?
And that the icon/shortcut that you're using is pointing to another
directory then the one you used for the upgrade?

Check if there is a file called
PerfProcessList.ocx
in the system32 directory.

If it's available to a 
REGSVR32 PerfProcessList.ocx
If this fails 

Do a :
copy PerfProcessList.ocx PERFPR~1.OCX
REGSVRRE PERFPR~1.OCX




IF  PerfProcessList.ocx 
is not in the system32 directory
do a:   copy PERFPR~1.OCXPerfProcessList.ocx 
REGSVRRE PerfProcessList.ocx

[SA-list] Version 4.0.1310

[Williamson, Scott]

Has anyone tried 4.0.1310 yet?  I'm having trouble with it.  It seems to
loose everything and stop monitoring when I log off.  I am running it as a
service under my credentials and the service is set to Automatic and
Started.  Any Help would be appreciated.
