[Samba] Permission on sharing file/folder

Dear All Friends,

 

Im already explore with UNIX permission, currently what I can see is only
have read,write and execute. We also can combine this permission with
grouping.

But what I seek here, how can I set permission that user can't delete file
but can modify the file ?

 

Windows can do it. 

 

That the problem I have from windows2k to samba migration.

Anyone have any idea?

 

Appreciate if someone have idea or answer.

[Samba] File And Folder Sharing Security

Dear Fellows,

 

Anyone can help me.. how to protect the file or folder each time user create
from delete/remove/rename

 

Example :

 

User1 create new file under share folder --> test

How can I protect every file under folder test from delete or remove or
rename..

 

Anyone have idea..
