[Samba] Compile error
I am trying to compile the latest version of samba on Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES 4. [Samba] Unable to join samba host to domain
Greetings, I am trying to join a host to an Active Directory domain in orser to authenticate squid users. I have compiled keberos 1.3.5 and Samba 3.0.9 on my system. When I run the command net ads join -U amdin.user , the server gives the following response and does not proceed any further: [2004/12/10 14:24:36, 0] libads/ldap.c:ads_add_machine_acct(1473) Warning: ads_set_machine_sd: Unexpected information received Using short domain name -- Why is it doing this? [Samba] Problem connecting to domain
Greetings, I have compiled samba 3.0.9 to use kerberos 1.3.5 that I have also compiled from source. However, when I attempt to conect the host to an Active Directory domain, it fails with the following error after a lengthy delay: /usr/local/samba/bin/net: relocation error: /usr/local/samba/bin/net: undefined symbol: krb5_cc_close What can I do to resolve this? *** This message is intended for the addressee named and may contain confidential information. [Samba] Preventing Samba from acting as a domain controller
Greetings, I have Samba 3.0.9 configured to authenticate a squid proxy using ntlm and for file shares on a particular linux host. However, it appears that this host is interfering in our Active Directory domain. In smb.conf, I have set the parameter preferred master = no. [Samba] Unable to connect machine to Active Directory Domain
Greetings, I have been trying, without success, to connect a linux host to the Active directory domain of the organisation where I work. When I use the command, net ads join -U password: , it does not give back a response. I am having difficulty in joining the AD domain at our Office through kerberos. So far I have not been able to connect to the AD kdc.
