[Samba] Too many handles on this pipe
I wonder if there is any resolution to this problem. I'm encountering similar situation with the Nashuatec DSC338 and P7325 printers from Ricoh using RPCS drivers. After uploading those drivers and performing basic printing preferences configuration, the print server crashed and become inaccessible. Here is the error from samba.log: [2005/07/23 12:14:19, 0] rpc_server/srv_lsa_hnd.c:create_policy_hnd(110) create_policy_hnd: ERROR: too many handles (1025) on this pipe. [Samba] Distributing custom driver config in TDB files
Hi, Is there a way to populate customized settings of the drivers (printing related TDB files) from one Print Server to another? Here is the background: I am working on centralized driver distribution. Besides pushing all the drivers from a central location to the edges, the administrator should also be allowed to customize the drivers settings and the distribution should send those customizations to the edges. I understand those settings are stored in the TDB files (ntprinters.tdb, ntforms.tdb, etc). The HOW-TO guide shows how to initialize the valid Device Mode. I wonder if there is any programmatically way to clone those valid settings to all the edges. Also, besides 'tdbdump' and 'tdbbackup', are there other tools to manage the TDB files? I'm developing on Linux using Samba 3.0.14a. Any suggestions are highly appreciated, thanks.
