You may want to try this:
Set on your smb.conf the line: client use spnego = no
And then access using smbclient with -s option

That worked for me !

I've read this thread and I have same problem
I've checked it with 3.0.4 and 3.0.10 (downloading now 3.0.20 for the
check)
I've checked it with OnTap: 6.5.1
 
NetApp side log - o.k. with this output:
