[Samba] Problems With MDB in Linux/Samba

I have a linux Red Hat 9.0 with samba and i create a share and put a MDB
archive in this share. So, i have an application installed in client and it
access the MDB in Linux. But all the time i have problems in my application
acessing this MDB. If i put the MDB with a share with windows, i don´t have
problems. What´s happen?
Any suggest is OK :-)

Alguem sabe dizer como posso fazer pra colocar usuario no red hat com . no
nome?
Ex.: joao.maria

Quando tento colocar este tipo de nome ele da a seguinte mensagem useradd:
invalid user name 'joao.maria'

[Samba] DiskQuota and Expire Password in Samba

My friends, i need to implement DiskQuota and expire password in samba. I
need that my users change your password in 30 days and the space in hard
disk can´t be larger than 100MB.
Who knows how can i implement this?

[Samba] Atualizar Samba

Pessoal, gostaria de atualizar a versao do meu samba que é versao 2.2.0 para
a versao 2.2.8. Existe algum procedimento que deve ser feito para poder
atualizar? Tenho que reconfigurar tudo novamente? Onde poderia obter dicas
de quais procedimentos e cuidados devem ser tomados?

[Samba] Autenticação Win2000 no Samba

Caros amigos, estou tendo dificuldade para conseguir logar estações win2000
no Samba. Alguem tem dicas de como posso fazer isso? Alguem ja conseguiu
fazer isto?
Qualquer ajuda é bem vinda!
Uso aqui na empresa Samba na versão 2.2.0 e win2000 versão português.

[Samba] Expiração de Senha e Disk Quota no Samba

Alguém sabe como posso fazer para controlar tamanho de espaço em disco que o
usuário pode utilizar? (Disk Quota) Gostaria que determinados usuários só
pudessem gravar até um determinado tamanho em disco.
Outra dúvida que tenho é como posso fazer para que as senhas sejam alteradas
de tempo em tempo.
Existe alguma ferramenta que force o usuário trocar sua senha em determinado
tempo?
