[sane-devel] Network detection fails to find Canon Scanner

2023-03-27 Thread Harvey Nimmo
Hallo and greetings from northern Germany!

I've joined this forum hoping for some help in getting my new Canon 3-
in-1 printer/scanner/copier to work in my home network together with
OpenSUSE Linux Leap 15.4 (64-bit) / Gnome Version 41.8

Having installed a Canon Maxify GX6050 3-in-1 printer/scanner/copier in
my LAN network I am having no success finding the scanner in the
network. The printer is working as expected.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to troubleshoot this issue ?
What more information is needed? How should I go about troubleshooting
this issue? I am happy to try out the Sane GX6050 software and provide
feedback.

Help from the OpenSUSE forum has reached a bit of a dead end.

Kind Regards
