Re: [sane-devel] Imageclass d530

2015-07-11 Thread kingogames
Hey there,

I have been trying ALL day to get my Canon ImageClass D530 to work all day
using your walkthrough, and I just can't do it. I think I'm close, but for
some reeason, I'm doing something wrong. I am just at a loss. I don't know
what else to do.

Can anyone help be get this working?

Running sane-find-scanner returns:

/found USB scanner (vendor=0x0bda, product=0x0129) at libusb:002:004
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon Inc], product=0x2775 [D530/D560]) at
libusb:002:003/

Why are there two scanners listed? I'm sure it was because I've been messing
with this all day and changed some setting... Could that be part of the
problem?

Running (and sudo) scanimage -L returns:

/No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different,
check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the
sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation
which came with this software (README, FAQ, manpages)./

I downloaded your *pixma_imageclass.c.patch4_all* but when I go to patch
pixma_imageclass.c, I get the following:

/(Stripping trailing CRs from patch; use --binary to disable.)

One starting when it finds the net-device and one when the net-device
isn't found.

i have so time to play with this today, also Scandb has always started with
both configuration with the init script and in /etc/rc.local the issue was
that the NEt interface would disappear when starting with the init script.

Do you want to send you both logs? one starting with the init method and
starting in he /etc/rc.loca method? just want to confirm. thanks.
